Some things you can only express perfectly in Afrikaans – right? Words like jol, ja/nee and lekker just have no fitting English equivalent. This past Sunday we enjoyed the hospitality of Sanita van der Merwe at Oep ve Koep and an amazing langtafel lunch prepared by the stylish and talented Isabella Niehaus. What a treat…what a LEKKERTE!

It was a perfectly delightful day with wonderful food, wine and company. The restful atmosphere in the Oep ve Koep garden along with the cheerful, colourful art work & hand-painted table cloths by artist Roelie van Heerden provided the backdrop to an all round fabulous & enjoyable Sunday lunch.

The best news is that Isabella will be cooking her amazing Langtafel meals at Oep ve Koep in Paternoster to celebrate the abundant flower season over the next few weeks! Langtafel at Oep ve Koep dates; 18, 19, 24, 25, 31 August & 2 Sept 2018

Enjoy a great 3-course meal for R450. Limited seating available so booking is essential. New artwork by Roelie van Heerden will also be exhibited. Call: 0227522105/ 0829290182 Email:
